FAITH- is- Belief
in Motion/Activated 2
Cor 4; Hebr 11
Faith is an act.
It is something we do. Faith without works is dead. All faith has a
corresponding action attached to it! All in the Bible who accomplished
something for the LORD- went out on a limb – in the eyes of others- maybe
foolish- but with a solid unseen confidence stepped out in this confidence.
Faith is activation of belief. Understand that God does use foolish things-
foolish to so-called wise of this world. He does this to confound the wise- to
take them in their own ways (1 Cor. 1)
All bakers know that
yeast activates the lump of dough- without it that lump will just sit- but yeast- being alive- starts changing the
dimensions of that lump- something
starts moving! so also faith- is activated belief- that changes things! It
changes you! Just try it! Start
anticipating God to move on the scene! Paul said a person should stir up
something within! Activate your calling and gifting! You do something! God has
already done everything- man must respond now- and do something! Stretch forth
that hand! Rise up and walk! Go wash mud off eyes! Go show thyself to the
priest! Break out the roof tiles for a friend- My expectation is from the Lord (Ps 62)
Faith- Activated
belief is of the spirit- not mind.
The mind wants to figure it our logically- Jesus said there
was a time to think logically- when constructing a building, for example.
Counting the cost, etc. Project Management is today’s term.
There is a difference between heart-faith and presumption.
After Israel
refused to enter the Promised Land. They got mad and in presumption- anger-
said- well, lets go get it- the same act from a different motivation will NOT
bring the answer! One is of real faith- heart-faith- the other is a presuming-
of the mind- He said do it- lets do it- in a kind of unbelief! There I told you
so- I knew we couldn’t do it! “I tried faith-but it didn’t work!” kind of an
answer
Faith is a walk.
See all who exercised FAITH in God- did something- moved by
FAITH: real faith MOVES you to get out of your seat of comfort- and do
something! You have a explosion of change in your daily schedule!
Faith has a TALK -
Ps 50; Romans 4:17; Mark 11:23-24; 2 Cor 4:13;
Faith has a laugh
to it. Faith sees beyond the visible. Faith hears beyond the audible. FAITH touches the untouchable.
Faith has a grasp to it! (Acts 17; Isa 64) Faith sees into the future – and calls forth things into
being. Saying NOW faith IS (Heb
11:1-2) It may appear foolish to the carnal (1 Cor 1)
If you want GOD to invade your home- you re-arrange
priorities. What would you need? A loved one saved? Have you travailed in birth
for them? Huh?
Do you know someone
who needs a healing? Have you taken it to them? Have you taken the Word and
His Power to where the need is? And will you believe Mark 16?
Now faith is not only
shouting or hollering or doing a lot of physical realm things- to accomplish
something- YET it can be seen and heard in the shout of those who receive
before they see the answer! Its one thing to shout when you’re happy- but have
you ever done this: shout for no reason at all- other than to know that your
name is written in Heaven! Hallelujah!
Activated belief
caused the woman with the issue of blood to know that she was to be healed-
with one touch! She didn’t sit at home and say- I’m healed- she made her
way down to where the “power of the Lord
was present to heal”. This does not imply that today you cannot be healed
at home- you can. But there is a place where the Spirit is being poured out where
things happen! The fullness of the
manifestation/ demonstration is! Many logs burn brighter in a fire! Activated belief caused the Children of Israel to march around Jericho six days- then on the seventh seven
times and let out a shout! Activated belief- Moses stretched his rod
over the waters! And Israel
crossed over Red Sea as on dry ground- fed
them in the wilderness – and caused them to go into their promised land! ACTIVE
FAITH ACTION!
DO SOMETHING! That
is FAITH! Get beside yourself- your normal quiet self!
